What happens when a romance novel fan tries to find love on reality TV? Portia Delaney is obsessed with reading romance novels, often fantasizing about meeting the man of her dreams. The only problem is she spends more time reading about romance than actually experiencing it. Fed up with her lackluster dating life, Portia decides to put down the romance novels and audition for a reality TV show called "Date Me Over," hoping to meet some hot single men she deems swoon-worthy. When Portia ends up crushing on a fellow contestant, she discovers that you can’t always choose your fate in dating and love.
